米国の億万長者が夜のマンハッタンを豪勢な車で運転手とまわりながら、いくつかの出来事に遭遇。もちろん、億万長者にも予定があり、それを達成するべき動くが、偶然に出会ったひとたちと対話を試み、そこに現在の米国の抱えている問題がおおいに反映される。もともとの予定には億万長者のオブセッションなどが含まれる。しかしすでに価値観、世界観のバランスが取れなくなり、生の意味の確認にもこと欠くような主人公のまわりで、いまの米国の価値観が試されているといってもよい。原作はドン・デリーロで、わたしは未読、どんな世界が描かれるのおおいに興味があった。

Maybe he has lost the meaning the life and repeats some conversation as he likes or by chance. It is a caricature of the U.S., specially, about those who have all.

Un super rico gringo, con su caro muy lujo, prueba un paseo nocturno por Manhattan. Hay incidentes, unos intencionales y otros casulaes. Asi se propone una Ciudad noctura bajo algun caos, pero hay más situacion caotica dentro de este hombre, sin poder encontrar muchos sentidos que le rodean. Puede interpretar un tipo de la caricatura para señalar la mentalidad gringa actual. Pues, somos una victima de esta mentalidad!
