小児麻痺によって全身を動かすことができない中年の男はいつもヘルパーさんに囲まれているが、ひとりのヘルパーさんに恋したことから性の経験を持ちたいと望むにいたる。そんな希望を担当のカウンセラーが聞き、その分野の専門の女性担当者が少しづつ性の経験を教えていくことになる。体が不自由なこと以外にも臆病であり、まだるっこしいが、それでも進歩をみせ、ついにはセックスに成功するにいたる。女性のほうも患者さんの生きる態度におおいに打たれ、心を寄せるようになる。かくしてなんにんもの女性に思い出を残し、自分の人生に満足しつつも息を引き取る。生きることの意味がふかく問われる、米国の独立プロの作品。おそらくニホンでは上映なし。

A middle aged man with polio can’t move, living with helpers. He may have short life and he decided to prove the sexual experience, namely, loose his virginity with some woman. His psychotherapist has a conection with a professional sexual attendant. Here we have a proof between to live and make love. Of course, this patient is so timid that this attendant had to meke various efforts. But she also began to gaze his way of life. So after some memory with women, he gone.

Un hombre invalido con el polio cuenta con los ayudantes. A trave se enamorarse de un a ayudante, se volvio a tener contact sexual con la mujer. La sicologa lo canalizo y acudio una profesionista de la atencion especial de la cuestion sexual. Este paciente finalmente empezo a tener contacto, pero muy timidamente. Pero al fin logro hacer el amor. Sin embargo, ya faltaba poco tiempo de la vida. La profesionista tambien se conmovio con la actitud de la vida del paciente. Despues de tener mucha sensacion existencial este paciente se fue, dejando algunas memorias preciosas.
