米国映画“The Help(ヘルプ 〜心がつなぐストーリー〜)”, Tate Taylor, 2011, US

“The Help(ヘルプ 〜心がつなぐストーリー〜)”, Tate Taylor, 2011, US. 60年代の南部にて白人の裕福な家庭にて働く黒人女性のメイドさんたちの労働環境は過酷であった。大学を出たばかりの白人の若い女性がこの仕事をレポートしだし、憤慨するにいたる。しかし白人女性の側は団結していて、無知と偏見の塊であったが、流れに外れた動きを試みればすぐさまプレッシャーが押しよせる。まずこの進取にとんだ白人女性は、黒人メイドたちの証言集を企て、刊行されるやいなや、裕福な白人女性にまで面白い本との評判をとり、隠れて読むひとまで出た。すべてはアイロニーとユーモアにあふれているテキストだからであり、つまりは黒人メイドたちのほうが白人女性よりも深い智慧を与えられていたことを証明づけているともいえる。こんな今になぜ黒人差別の問題かとわたしなどはいぶかったが、興行的にも成功し、家庭の内側からみた差別ということで、あたらしい試みも含まれているということである。

“The Help”, Tate Taylor, 2011, US. In the southern State of the US, the housemaids of the black had few rights of their works and oppressed. A white young woman recently graduated and wanted to grow as a writer began to research these cases, and got indignant about their situation. The racial discrimination viewed through the domestic works. There white well-to-do ladies had enjoy easy living, while black domestic worker knew and could think deeply. In many cases the blacks were cleverer than the whites. Any way this white young woman tried to write a book as a compilation of their testimonies. This book took a grand success and an impact even in the circle of the rich women’s circle. In this way the history would be changed. This movie had come out well as a show business, although at first I supposed why they talked about the discrimination in this moment.

trabajadoras domesticas negras tenian pocos derechos. Una joven recien egresada de la Universidad empezo su trabajo de investigar la realidad de sus trabajos y termino indignada. Mientras en el circulo de las senoras blancas adineradas se disfrutan de la vida, pero llenas de prejuicios y discriminacion. La joven queria superar esta situacion redactando la compilacion de los testimonios de ellas. Con mucho tono de la ironia y humor, la publicacion gano el exito. Aqui se necesitaba cambiar la mentalidad de las blancas. Esta obra salio bn comercialmente tambien. Primero tuve poca idea porque ahorita se trataba de la discriminacion, pero quiere contar mas alla, digamos, algo de la universalidad de los humanos.
