フランス映画“The artist(アーティスト)”, Michel Hazanavicius,2011,

“The artist{アーティスト}”, Michel Hazanavicius,2011,　フランス.　無声映画においてその色男ぶりと派手な演技とで名声を得ていた俳優が、トーキー映画の普及とともにスターの座を失っていくという時代の盛衰を描いたもの。たまたまこの俳優に眼をかけられた素人同然の女のひとが次代の名女優として名をなしていく。しかしこの二人のあいだにはメロドラマが成立し、すべてはお涙ちょうだいの安っぽさに堕していく。サイレントからトーキーに移り変わっていくときは、それほど映画や俳優のコンセプトが変貌してしまったわけで、より新しいところでは映画からＴＶに娯楽が映っていくときにも価値観の大いなる変化があったもの。それに付け加え、映画の盛衰を裏で操っているのはスクリーンの裏の企業の論理があったということ。だからスクリーン上の成功・失敗も一面的なものにすぎない（その一方では神話もつくられるが）。この映画を見ると裏切られたような気持になる、二重の意味で。ああ、映画というのは、でも、たかがイルージョンでしかないのだ、と割り切ってしまいさえすればいいのだろうか。

“The artist”, Michel Hazanavicius,2011, France. A prosperity and decline of the popular actor of the silent movie. Just like a poem in praise of the silent movie. In the silent movie, the actor had the exaggerated acting and had to be a handsome man as a lady-killer. But with an invention of the talkies, everything had changed.
It needed the acting in the original meaning of the word, and the performance as an expression of his personality. In this point, a young lady who admired a gallant, later got success as an actress while the gallant actor had fallen. So apart of the history of the cinema, there is a melodrama. Of course, the most of the silent movie, or every movie in general would be of the melodrama. But if so, the realism no longer would be alive. So I disappointed with this story. Besides, every corner of the production of the movie under the producer as a boss of the enterprise and the logic of the business. The Hollywood would be great, but nothing beyond the beauty and the ideal.

“The artist”, Michel Hazanavicius,2011, Francia. Esta es una historia de la transicion del cinema. Un actor galan se disfruta de su fama en el cine silencio. Pero cuando llego la hora de Talkies, todo se ha cambiado. En el Talkies, ya no necesitaba el actor como este galan con la actuacion exagerada y egocentrica. Mientras una joven que apenas tuvo contacto con el galan, de repente se volvio como una actriz afamada gracias a la suerte. Hasta aqui se analiza la historia del cinema, pero ahi se empezo una melodrama entre estos dos. Claro que la major parte del cine tiene el elemento del melodrama, pero esto excluye el realismo. Quisiera observar mas alla del melodrama. Ademas hay una triste verdad que siempre detras de la pantalla hay logica de la empresa en busca de rentabilidad sacrificando la estetica y el ideal. El actor de nuevo se acerco al exito, pero me parece que ya su fama tambien esta efimera.
